Danny Walsh transfers large collection of sync'd ADAT tapes with Merter Yildirim

Dubway tape technician and transfer specialist Merter Yildirim recently wrapped a large tape transfer with local NYC saxophonist Danny Walsh (Aerosmith, Mingus Dynasty Big Band, Bruce Springsteen), doing something we don’t do every day–transferring a number of synced ADAT tapes to allow for re-aligning of two or more tapes in post. This is a tricky process, utilizing several synchronized units like the Alesis ADAT recorder above, and the perfect scenario in which to call someone like Merter.
