Recording VO for podcasts, ADR for film, mixing… We’ve mastered varied options - to address home recording limitations, and allow for the best quality experience & audio fidelity.
For decades, Dubway has been immersed in remote audio, starting way back with international ISDN links and continuing through today’s reliance on modern AoIP methods. Many approaches are available to both record and allow for session participation via all conferencing services (Skype, Zoom, Source Connect, etc). We even ship recording rigs (dubbed "Orbiters") and microphone packages to performers’ homes - our engineers connect and run the sessions remotely.
We also offer a variety of other services to ease your productions along, including noise reduction, transcription, VO casting and production, and more. Our remote clients include audiobook publishers, television series, ad agencies, international film production, and musicians.
Of course, a professional studio does provide the ultimate recording environment. Our studios are kept fully stocked with PPE, including gloves, masks, disinfectant, and sanitizing wipes. The modularity of the studio layout allows talent and engineer to interact without ever sharing the same space. All surfaces (including microphones, pop filters, door handles, keyboards, music stands) are regularly disinfected. For our clients' in-studio experience, Dubway has ensured that our process exceeds all state and national guidelines and remains as safe as possible. For SAG-AFTRA productions, we are certified as fully compliant with all Safety Protocol guidelines, and remain on the list of nationally approved audio houses/studios for voice over recording. The hand sanitizer bottle in each room is never empty!
Remote recording
Dubway has a long history of making recordings work from a distance, and in our post-Covid-19 world, we’ve increased and improved our practices.
